Today is Jill's birthday!
To Jill, we wish a long life!
Not only was she born back then...
but she's been BORN-AGAIN!
Praise Yeshua (means Jesus) for LIFE!
Jill,
just wanted to be the first to wish you a Happy 39th Birthday! Now, are you gonna be like Grandma and tell everyone you are still 39, thirty years from now?
Love ya, sis!
I liked the photo you sent, but wondered whose boots those were... Have a great day! Give Noah a big kiss from his Auntie Gayle!
Well, today was Mother's Day, and David and I both failed to get cards into our mom's hands. Sarah Jane gave me a dear one, with a long sentiment written out - I'll cherish it! But, even though we had our mom's cards in the house, we didn't get them to them. I feel bad about that. I guess I was too busy being a mom myself...
We went to David's parents' for lunch, and I was going to spend time in the evening with my mom, but she got sidetracked, and needed that time to see her mom, and I ran out of steam, and wanted to just hide out. So we decided to go out on Tuesday morning for a nice long visit over coffee. Noah will be in preschool so it'll work out nicely.
Noah ends preschool this Thursday. He's been asking when it would end. I thought that only kids in grades 4+, who had regular homework, asked that. Noah is not an extravert. I think school stresses him out. He seemed to enjoy the first 3-4 months, but then he went downhill, protesting every morning, sometimes even to the entrance of the building. But he did go running in once I had him there. And he does have his little clique of friends. We'll not send him next fall. Need to save $$. Oh well. It was good while it lasted. I'll have to do swap babysitting or something, to make sure he has regular playmates. I'll ask around.
I'm reading Jane Eyre. Very sad, incredibly descriptive. Charlotte Bronte knew how to spin a yarn. Much better that any movie I've seen.
