Today is Jill's birthday!
To Jill, we wish a long life!
Not only was she born back then...
but she's been BORN-AGAIN!
Praise Yeshua (means Jesus) for LIFE!
Jill,
just wanted to be the first to wish you a Happy 39th Birthday! Now, are you gonna be like Grandma and tell everyone you are still 39, thirty years from now?
Love ya, sis!
I liked the photo you sent, but wondered whose boots those were... Have a great day! Give Noah a big kiss from his Auntie Gayle!
It's summer, and perhaps because we're not taking a family vacation this year (outside of a local amusement park, and perhaps a zoo), David wanted to get cable again. (We haven't had it all fall, winter, and spring.)
So, Noah's watching Noggin again, which I love. There's a new show, Pinky Dinky Doo, that I really enjoy, perhaps because she reminds me of myself as a kid. Pinky makes up stories, and her little brother, and guinea pig are her main audience.
But there's one show that literally hurts my ears: The Backyardigans. It's constant driving music, more upbeat than calm, to the little Broadway-musical type songs/adventures. It's too much "big energy." I can hardly endure it, so I keep the volume down, or generally avoid it.
I love Oswald, a very gentle show about an Octapus and his friends.
I think I'm at an age where calm and serenity are much comfort. I don't want excitement. I want peace, and intellectual stimulation. Yup, that's about it. Not surprising from a 39-year-old mom of five...
