Today is Jill's birthday!
To Jill, we wish a long life!
Not only was she born back then...
but she's been BORN-AGAIN!
Praise Yeshua (means Jesus) for LIFE!
Jill,
just wanted to be the first to wish you a Happy 39th Birthday! Now, are you gonna be like Grandma and tell everyone you are still 39, thirty years from now?
Love ya, sis!
I liked the photo you sent, but wondered whose boots those were... Have a great day! Give Noah a big kiss from his Auntie Gayle!

Well, here she is, our little Sheltie, Maisy. We're had her for nearly 2 weeks now, and only tonight named her. It's a Scottish name, for a Scottish dog. It means "pearl." That's just what she is - a precious adornment for our family. And like a pearl, she is a treasure. I had no idea what a great dog she would turn out to be. She's obedient, affectionate, pretty, easy to bathe, housebroken, did I mention pretty? I can't believe Kevin's (Rebekah's boyfriend) family just gave her to us. She's such a sweetie! (She even licks Noah awake for me.)She's almost a year, and gets spayed this week. I'm a bit upset about that - I hope it goes well. I've already grown so attached to her, I can't imagine losing her. David is also rather fond of her, more-so than he anticipated. Sarah Jane and Ben LOVE her, and Rebekah and Josh think she's cute, but would rather not have a dog for all the hassle. Long gone are their days of "A puppy!" They're realists. I've decided that there are two typed of pro-animal people: dog lovers (me) and dog likers (Rebekah).
Also this week, Noah and I are going to be photographed. The long-awaited mother-child portrait I've always wanted. Yes, I know that's usually done with babies, and Noah is four, but he does still have dimpled hands and all his baby teeth, so there. I was too fat before. And I had to grow my hair out. I'm finally looking OK again. Here's a recent pic of how long my hair's gotten:

I had to buy some fake nails for the picture, as the anemia made mine all chippy, and now they're stubby. This is the first time in 39 years this has happened. I usually have long healthy nails. Oh well. I hope I can figure the silly things out. They cost about four bucks at the local grocery store.
I finally stopped chewing ice -Yay! I've been chewing about 8 large glass a day. After three weeks of Slow FE, I don't even think about ice. What a relief - thank the Lord!
