Today is Jill's birthday!
To Jill, we wish a long life!
Not only was she born back then...
but she's been BORN-AGAIN!
Praise Yeshua (means Jesus) for LIFE!
Jill,
just wanted to be the first to wish you a Happy 39th Birthday! Now, are you gonna be like Grandma and tell everyone you are still 39, thirty years from now?
Love ya, sis!
I liked the photo you sent, but wondered whose boots those were... Have a great day! Give Noah a big kiss from his Auntie Gayle!
Summer is easing by. I can't believe it's late July already. Soon the girls start college, Sarah Jane her junior year, and Rebekah, her freshman. I can't believe Rebekah's going to college. But it's time, and I think she's good and ready.
Sarah Jane is on her way to becoming a nurse-midwife. I'm glad she knows what she wants to be when she grows up. I wonder if Rebekah will change her major a time or two before she settles into one. For now, it's "musical theatre."
David and I saw Lady in The Water tonight. It was entertaining; a good yarn. One thing for sure, M. Night Shyamalan is a Myers-Briggs NF, that is, an "Idealist." He wrote, directed, and starred in it.
There's a nature show on. I hate some of these, especially where a sad part comes, like just now. An elk fawn, separated from its own herd, sought refuge among a bison herd. They kicked her out, to the four wolves waiting to attack and eat her. This kind of stuff is terrible to watch. Poor thing. I look forward to the Lord's return, when all this will be set right, and the lamb will lie down with a wolf.
Maisy is healing up from being spayed. We also had her dewclaws removed. They are still healing, and look really sore. Her bandages were on for 2 weeks, and are now off. She has to wear an Elizabethan collar to keep her from chewing at the stitches, which come off Thursday.
Soon time for the Dog Whisperer. I just love this show. It's helped me to understand dogs so much better. I've taped it over and over to loan out to anyone with a dog. It's that helpful.
